The primary challenge was gathering and reconciling a diverse array of information from multiple sources into a unified portal with advanced notification and reminder capabilities. Data Connector: The initial phase focused on establishing data connectors to integrate data from Salesforce, Eloqua, Oracle, and other third party tools. Leveraging Java technologies and utilizing REST APIs, the team developed connectors that efficiently retrieved data and stored it in an AWS S3 bucket.The team implemented multiple business-rule-based filters to handle several hundred thousand data records efficiently, enhancing data transition and integrity.

Custom Reporting Tool: With clean, optimized data, the next step was developing a custom reporting tool. While considering commercial tools like Power BI and Tableau, the team opted for a custom portal to optimize data queries and create tailored visualizations. This solution eliminated licensing fees, reduced long-term costs, and enhanced the client’s operational independence.
Data Governance and Data Normalization: Post-development, the client business team focused on data governance to ensure consistency across departments. Previously, varied formats caused significant data inconsistency. To address this, they created data transformation rules to normalize data and gradually implemented standardized collection processes.
